iPad/iPhone apps

I'm an iPhone/iPad developer, and I released few apps ..but so far the numbers isn't that good at all.

What do you thi8nk is the best practice for this?

Marketing... Adwords, target other ipad/iphone users. Its unrealistic to just expect people to use your app out of the blue. Marketing is just as important, if not more important than the technology aspect of any app
