Is this a good wordpress theme?

This is a medical blog about a specific condition.

Is this a good theme conducive to quality adsense placement?

Also, what kind of things need to be tweaked in a wordpress theme in order for it to be seo friendly? Suggestions? Sites? Articles? Plugins?

The effectiveness of the adsense ads on any blog will very so it requires testing and tweaking to find which works the best for your target demographic but I didn't seem to mention that in the guide to wordpress and blogging, I'll do an update to that thread tomorrow giving some of my thoughts on how to properly use Adsense, Placement, and some other adsense related shit tomorrow, its too late to write it out now but check that thread again in about 12 or 14 hours from now.

make the navigation in the blue bar white text instead of black. too hard to read.

remove those black dots for the links in the sidebars, or at least change them to some type of image. famfamfam.com: Home has some good icons.

Maybe add a background image to the header if you can, relating to the topic so people see it and stick around longer.

For themes, you can try themes.wordpress.net there are TONS there. or smashingmagazine.com has some good free wordpress lists.
