I am newbie, so please help.

I was researching for a keyword in Google.
I saw a keyword with good search volume but zero advertiser competition.
And when I search for the keyword in google, I saw more than 10 sponsored results.

Is that keyword which google tools says have no advertiser competition still profitable for a ppc campaign?

Thanks

The advertiser competition meter is relative to the estimated search volume. Even if it shows nothing it doesn't always truly mean zero. It does probably mean not much competition for that keyword.

Oh.
So is there anything which shows accurate data?

If there is not, then how do the affiliates find the profitable niche? I mean profitable for PPC marketing.

A niche can still be profitable even with a lot of advertiser competition.

Playing a guessing game with the google data like this will get you nowhere fast. The only way to truly determine if a niche is profitable is to front someone of your own hard earned money and see what happens.

Slap up a campaign and see how it does. Once you have collected enough data on how an offer is converting you can determine whether or not to pursue it further. Even if you start off in the negative but it still shows some hope, chances are you can further tweak your ad copy, landing page, etc to turn a profit.
