I first started trying AM around October last year, I downloaded Google Cash for free using BitTorrent (sue me:rasta:), finished it in a day and just started up a campaign for Halloween. All in all, I made a profit of $4.00.

I put internet marketing on hold for a while until December. Then, I downloaded a few other e-books for free and browsed through them, I implemented some of what they said and lost about $50.

Here I see you guys seem to recommend thrashing all those ebooks and just jumping into the fray? I know from first hand experience that the ebooks are mostly rehashing the same material, with some odd piece of unique advice, but are they truly that worthless? Should I just jump into the fray again?

Btw, I'm still a student I'm 16 and using my father's credit card so I can't afford spending too much, mayhbe at most $150 a month, do you think it's possible for me to do it?

if you don't want to spend cash, just create a myspace resource site, or setup an auctionads site and SEO it, lots of options man. you have the advantage of TIME!

try to build up a content site, combine affiliate offers with adsense or auctionads and SEO it up.. get some free link exchanges going on, maybe spend some money on directory submisssions, and then set it and forget it! move onto the next.

You can buy by spending $0 a month (aside from hosting and domains) but yeah tob is right. Learn how to make websites that you can get a lot of natural traffic to... then see if it converts. When that happens, then try messing around with PPC . And avoid promoting other e-books and crap... you'll only lose your money. Work on something that doesn't have a lot of competition... like a Singapore city guide (then promote tickets or vacation packages), etc.
