Damn!! Glad that I did a google today!

Yesterday I found the warriorforum, and started reading and saw an offer for an ebook (being touted as a "special discount" for warrior members)... for *only* $79 ... but when you strip the affiliate link...amazingly, it was the same damned price. (grumble, mumble, *&^&%^%!!) Don't mind paying someone for their work...but if you are gonna lie to get the sale, kinda doubt that it was work shit to begin with--and this was a "highly recommended ebook!! Guess the guy running the site is getting his cut (duh!)

So...I went to go post a WTF question today and luckily the entire site is down. :D That gave me the time and incentive to dig a bit deeper and I found this site!!

I was starting to feel from even just the 2 hours that I spent on that site that it is a buncha people trying to sell each other stuff...instead of finding customers...well, I am sure you get the point!

</end useless background info>

Is there really ANY use or benefit to continue to read anything on warrior, or should I just concentrate my time and effort here?

err....

avoid the warrior crap like the plague, unless you are looking for some gullible idiots to peddle get rich quick e-books to.

Concentrate your time and effort on making money. If you feel the need to read a forum, this is the best one to do so.

While I appreciate your passion for a good old fashioned ebook-seller witch hunt, you could be spending your time in much more productive ways. Certainly don't buy any of that shit, let alone wasting your time on the people that sell it. If you have an uncontrollable urge to read crappy ebooks, there's a thread here you'll probably find to your liking.

Yes. This is often described as the Warrior Forum / DigitalPoint / SitePoint circle jerk.

Nah...just trying to figure out in the whole grand scheme of things...where the heck to start it all out.

I have plenty of tech know-how (I am a programmer), but just need to figure out what the heck I would like to sell (either my own work, or someone else's) and how to best go about it.

Personally, I was just pretty much "flipping" through their site and followed a couple links, but being the suspicious sort that I am...and always looking for a good bargain, I checked that ebook out. Afterall, why pay full price, when you can become an affiliate and sell yourself the book and get a kickback/discount. ;)

Ok...will remove their bookmark since it looks like they are not worth the diskspace to store the bookmark.

Thanks...and if anyone can point me to a good quick primer/starter place, I will not clog the net with too many n00b questions (and get back to work in the meantime!)
