Copying and pasting shit directly isn't the best idea. The big SEs have this thing about duplicated content, and your file's last modification date will tell them that you're not the original behind it.
It'll fool the humans easily enough though.

I read somewhere that if you use <q> tags and then cite it, it does a bit to alleviate this as it assumes you're doing an academic reference (and therefore it's ALL about copying :D) but I'd assume you need some extra copy around it to expand on the original chunk you've copied from.
