So I tried posting this before.. but for some reason it didn't show up. (Sorry if this ends up being a double post!)
May be a totally naive question, but is it possible to use custom lead gen pages as apposed to the ones provided by the affiliate networks?

thanks in advanceeee!

I think you need to be a bit more specific about your question:

Do you mean the pages that have your look and feel to them? - then the answer is yes... theres a bunch of companies that do that.

Do you mean that you come up with your own questions? - I never came across that, and i believe nobody will ever do this. After all, the info goes to the advertisers and they are not just gonna buy half of the data they need.

Do you mean custom paths and offers? - there is some flexibility with that. Certain lead gen companies will give you more-or-less complete control over the path and offer stream.

Hope this answers your q...

I meant more like..
Lets say i create a lead gen page for a 500$ gift card offer..
It would be my own design.. but could I have them input the variables.. and complete the offer through my own page? Rather than having a landing page that will forward to an offer.

Okay more of what i'm talking about is building a custom lead gen page and having it work for lets say.. a 500$ gift card offer.. instead of a landing page that forwards to the default lead gen page.
sorry if my terminology isnt right ;x

Totally depends on the network & the offer.

For some networks, they just want the lead, and will allow you to use whatever creatives / landing pages that work as long as their provided "legal terms" are included on the page.

Other networks take a very firm stance on their offers and basically let you use any creative that they supply, but only allow lead info on their lead forms. For what it's worth, most good networks will provide you a variety of landing pages, and they've been pretty heavily optimized - remember the network is relying on your transaction as much as you are!

Anyways, the short & sweet answer is "it depends" and it's one of the reasons that you should work with your favorite affiliate managers one-on-one via phone, email, and even face to face where appropriate.
