I have a few blogs that have articles that are ranking very well in Google. I don't use any blackhat seo because I don't any and I don't have the time to learn. My blogs use wordpress with seo plugins and thats it. I want it simple and fast.

I would like to know what a text link within the articles would sell for if the articles ranked in the top 5 of Goggle. The articles title were not meant for keyword strings but after looking at them and checking some of the advertisers that are bidding on these keywords strings it is quite evident that these articles could bring in some link revenue.

I know I haven't given much info but let say you would like a link that is ranked well in Google for a keyword string. How much would you be willing to pay for the number 1 or number 2 position?

Would kind of need to more about the blogs in question to give you a real idea of what we'd pay but...

we buy links en mass here, and generally when I buy links I'm more interested in the link's ability to pass value to my target domain. So, couldn't really care much if your page ranks in google and if the page can drive visitors to my site directly. I am interested in buying links that can boost my own rankings. With that in mind a site-wide link would have much more value than a link from an blog post which is likely to get buried deep on the site eventually.

To give you an indication, I may pay $10 for a site wide link from a PR0 if I thought the blog was on theme, not spammed out and had future potential. Maybe $50 per year for a site wide on a PR4 blog. An article on a PR4, well themed? Maybe $10 again.

If you sell links on your blogs try to make sure you keep everything on theme, there's nothing worse than seeing a travel blog (for example) with links to random stuff on it.

We've also been looking at some blog broker firms and post links there go from about $4 for a PR0 to $20/$50-$100 for PR5+ blogs. The quality is shocking though and not worth the money in the majority of cases.

My site has PR3 and it is in about position 490000 in Alexa and I'm selling text links for US$25/year each. Maybe you could use that as a reference.

Thanks for everyone's replies. My site in question is a PR 3 with a 500k alexa. I bought the domain at the first of the year and it was a blog prior to purchase so I have basically kept the theme and direction that was previously set. I get offers every now and then to post articles and blogroll links. I set up a little advert page but I may need to up my pricing. At the moment I am charging $1 per month for a blogroll link with a 3 month minimum.

I was curious about the article text link because the article ranked so well. The string it ranks for is like this " How to become a (keyword). " This may not be a highly searched term but it would be very targeted and I know there are companies out there that offer this type of service.

This is not the actual blog I am talking about but I have a PR 4 blog that I would be willing to sell a site wide link on. If you are interested I will PM the details.
