Multiple Twitter account creation questions.

I have an idea that could work well with twitter, and I want to try it out but since i have never used it I have some questions. I would really appreciate it if someone took their time to answer.

1. I heard that twitter only uses ip checks on account creation and not on logging in/usage. True or false? If I don't have to switch proxies all the time that would help alot.

2. Any good bots to automate your accounts with following and unfollowing?

3. How harsh are twitter with suspending accounts for mass following generally? Obviously I will try it out myself, but a general starting point would save some time.

For my first post, and a big hi to everybody, let me share my Twitter acct creation headaches.

1. Made 110 accounts @ 10 per day.
2. From my home IP. I know - not smart, but I like to learn the hard way.
3. The accounts had been running individual Feedburner feeds from each of my sites, on a one hour cron.
4. 2 weeks later the accounts are still active, however the feed is not running. The feeds are still running on Feedburner however.
5. I can post a tweet as normal from each of the accounts.
