Multiple websites-blogs-landing pages

Ok guys i have this dilemma that i haven't figured out. Noob question.
Why affiliates have 10 or 20 websites, blogs or landing pages?

It sound logical to me to have one or two strong ones, and build reputation there.
I'm defiantly missing something. So light me up.
It looks like is important, but i can't figure things out.

Thanks
-Ivan

p.s. Landing pages i can guess, because maybe you want target specific group and make landing page just for them...

^^Why not post your advert in the BST? I can't imagine an LP designer not knowing the answer to your question.

Lame Sales Pitch = Epic Fail

*No sarcasm intended...seriously :D

How do you build reputation with flogs?

There are a lot of offers to test. You can build a generic lander for your niche and rotate similar offers if that's what you're asking. Are you rolling a PPC campaign or trying to get organically listed?
Some affiliates have built out way more than 20 sites. They have built themselves an SEO empire.

Big Thanks for Answer. ^
I don't have any at this moment, i'm planning to start in adult health industry... and i'm seeing this "phenomenon" all the time, and did't quit get it. Now i know that there is as shit load of stuff that i have to learn.
Tanks for making i'm a bit clearer AllBizNiz.

I think i'll have to find some local mentor to explain me this stuff.

I'm just ordinary web designer, who is recently entered in this industry. I barely know the standards that are used for making the websites around affiliate marketing.
I don't care to look dumb asking the questions i don't know. Dick rolls are always welcome, you can learn something from them too.

p.s. @IMHopeful i'll come up with better signature -"sales pitch", but for now enjoy in my lame ass creativity :)

Landing Page Search - Not a dickroll, I promise. Dickrolls aren't allowed in Newbie Forum.

As I answered in the PM I sent you, I figured if you were in the LP design game, you would understand the concept of testing. Sorry for the misunderstanding and the link I've posted has a shit load of links related to design and testing. :D
