Marius, that guy made his post 5 months ago and his blog didn't get past 5 posts so this seems like a non-issue. Additionally everything he says is totally generic and known and discussed on all player sites - there is nothing to suggest he is ripping off your book, unless your book is just a generic rip off from chat rooms.

This guy says he has content for all over a year...but that's because he's basically copying and pasting my ebook word to word.

Help...

Find some text that's an exact rip, send a DMCA complaint to the web host, site goes offline, all done, move on.

Thank you, everyone. I contacted him (and his webhost) last week and he took off my content. He had over 30 posts that were copied directly word by word. (Exact rips) The 5 posts that are left aren't mine.

Posting on his blog wasn't my biggest concern. The same posts also ended up on ezinearticles.com under his name for everyone to use, and that's why I freaked out.

DMCAs are remarkably effective but you'd better be prepared to put the fear of god in a motherfucker. Some hosts will try to stonewall you, in which case it's always good to CC your attorney when you send the DMCA.
