Trying to make some moves

Wad up WF?

Over the past 2 weeks I've been researching my ass off (props to chrislingle for his arbi 101 thread http://www.wickedfire.com/affiliate-marketing/2802-we-going-do-arbi-test.html) and finally made the move to create a page.

Here's what I've done so far:
1. Researched a niche and made sure the main keyword received a decent amount of searches per month via 7search (150K for the main keyword)
2. Created a landing page template
3. Wrote some content
4. Tested LP to make sure relevant adsense ads were appearing
5. Researched keywords using WordTracker and dropped them into 7search with a bid price between .05 and .10 cents (currently 200 keywords)
6. Wrote the ad copy pointing to my page

It's been about 24 hours and I'm yet to receive a single click from 7search. While I didn't expect a ton of clicks I did expect to reiceive a few by now.

I'm guessing I need to do one or all of following to get some traffic:
- Add more keywords to my campaign
- Increase my bid prices
- Improve my ad copy

My questions are:
- Am I on the right track?
- Are 200 keywords for a campaign on 7search a joke and I should be aiming for thousands?
- I've looked but I can't seem to find any ad impression info in 7search. This way I could get an idea if my ad is displaying at all and with what keywords. Is there a way?

Thanks for the help guys!

No impression information unfortunately. Go to 7search and search for one of your keywords to see if your site is there.

You did validate your account right?

Yea Jdog, my account was validated about a week ago

where does it show you ranking in the affiliate network? You could try bidding higher for a day to see if that's what is wrong.

For keywords on the affiliate network that recieve the most traffic I'm ranked between 2 and 5. The rest of keywords don't have any Avg. Pos data on the affiliate network at all but they also have very few searches performed on them.

I did a search on 7search itself and my ad comes up first for the main keyword at .10. I know I could appear much lower down on their affiliate network where they get most of their traffic from, but they're ranking me between 2-5 on the affiliate network. I'll try increasing my bid and then improving my ad copy if the higher bid doesn't produce any traffic.

Thanks Jdog

Im sure your not bidding high enough. Are you above the fold?

I'm ranking between 2 and 5 on the affiliate network for the main keywords that produce the most amount of searches for the niche. I'm going to increase my bid and see what happens...

I improved my ad copy as well as increased my bid prices and received a few clicks. Actually, one of them has already converted, earning me .30. I'm going to go at this arbi shit full steam ahead now lol!

Thanks for your feedback Jdog and Adsense Loser!
