Hello all!
I remember stalking this forum in about 2011, and loving it. I have taken a 6 year break from learning about IM due to *bullshit excuse*, but I have time on my hands now, and was hopeful to get some n00b questions answered.
About Wickedfire:
1. It seems the community here is smaller then I remember?
2. I was told by many people to avoid gurus, ebooks, etc. and just read the shit out of threads, case studies, and so on. However, most of the beginner threads here are super old, so I was wondering if they are still relevant? I'm suspicious that much has changed.
About Wordpress:
1. I wanted to start playing with wordpress, I'm not entirely new to it, but I most definitely need to get up to speed. Is shared hosting ok, for the time being of just learning wordpress?
2. For the future, when I get some knowledge and courage to launch some campaigns, I think VPS is the way to go, but what is exactly is the benefit of using "Wordpress hosting" or "managed wordpress hosting"?
I'm eager to learn, and have a regular job, so can spend some cash.
I'm sure not many will want to deal with my shit lol, but even a helpful link to a thread is always appreciated.
