I have a question about making websites and advertising for Affiliate marketing. Is it smarter to make a website that requires a lot of work and to spend hours and days and writing information? so that your website has a lot of content. Or should I make a website which only takes a hour or so just giving some information on the product? I would appreciate any feed back on what worked for you.

Also what is a back link I have trouble understanding what it is?

Thank you

To begin, your best bet is to pick something you're interested in and throwing up a website that offers content + affiliate products related to it. It'll be easier for you to work on and the fact that you care will come through in the quality of the content you write.

A backlink is an incoming link from other websites to your website. So, say your buddy sets up a blog on the industry surrounding your site's focus point. He links to you so that his readers can get another perspective on the industry + give them the ability to comparison shop then purchase a product. That link is a backlink.

Ok thank you so much I understand what a back link is thank you for the advice.

Also after you have your website how would you go about on bringing in traffic. I created a blog and I have made a squido lens, wrote articles. Yet no matter what I do I only gain one or tow visitors a day, am I doing something wrong?
