Hello WickedFire,

I am Jasmin - 18 years of age, from the Philippines. Four or ive months ago, I ventured through the internet to find a good-paying and legitimate online job, and discovered that affiliate marketing is a good call. But before I get too serious, invest my time and money, and place my hopes high in earning good money through affiliate marketing, I and my mother (Yes, my mother. It is after all her credit card that I will be using as an investment.) have a series o questions.

* Is is wise to purchase a "testifies-by-many" good tool for affiliate marketing? I specifically mean Keyword Elite.

If yes, I typed in "dicounted keyword elite" in a certain search box. Are the results not scams?

* I am planning to start selling physical products - not digital products. Is it wiser to choose expensive products rather than cheaper products? One of the e-books I have read stated that super affiliates target rich buyers.

* Having been chosen either expensive or cheap physical products, is there a great chance of earning money enough to pay for the initial and next campaign in one-month or lesser lenght of time?

My advence and deepest gratitude to those who will provide good answers to my concerns.

Thank you,
jjmc_09 :anon.sml:

P.S.: If there is anyone willing to be my personal affiliate marketing coach, please do PM me. Thank you.

Wow. In your first post you managed to:

- introduce yourself with a new thread when there's a huge Introduction thread (ok, it's not *that* bad, but still)
- talk about eBooks
- talk about superaffiliates
- asked for personal coaching (aka "can I has your campaign detailz plz?")

What can I say... welcome to Wickedfire. Fortunately you're a girl, so you probably won't be flamed too much (even though this is a gay affiliate forum)

Tits or GTFO. That includes your mom.

But really, I think you need to do a bit more research. A small part of my soul always withers and dies when someone utters the phrase "legitimate online job."

To me, AM isn't a job. Yes, it's work, and yes, it's sure as hell not easy - but I tend to look at myself as a freelancer of sorts. I've used this analogy before: you're like a mercenary for hire. Don't sign up for an affiliate network, get accepted, and think to yourself, "Oh boy, I got a job. These people are now my employers." Bzzt, wrong. You're two businesses that might have a mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship.

As far as it being the "best idea" to only sell expensive products, that's BS. Would you rather sell one $300 product per day, or would you rather generate 100 $5 leads per day? I'm not saying selling expensive products is bad - it's quite good in fact - but don't limit yourself before you even get to the starting line.

Someone has this in their sig and I believe Jon said it first: AM is all about throwing shit at the wall until something sticks.

Remember, the most important thing is your ROI. Burn that into your brain.

And stop reading shitty ebooks.

Which makes me feel like a jackass for actually taking the time to reply

^^ and it was a great reply. I didn't have anything worthwhile to add I just want to know how the Phillipinos are fairing without Arnel Pineda. Has Steve Perry auditioned for the Zoo yet?

No one will step up to be a personal trainer but there are places for noobies to learn.

Look around on Google for affiliate training or schools.

If I post the one that I went learned at I'll get accused of spam and or banned.

Well some people say never use a credit card. I can promise you having a web site and throwing money at it doesn't guarantee a return.

As far as testimonials go, who knows who really wrote them, same with reviews. If it's just things like fantastic, flawless, easy, etc. it just an ad in my opinion.

No many successful affilaiates have 100 web sites. They don't all target rich people. An expensive product will probably have less sales but you should also get more commission per sale. You have to look at the average order size, the percent commission and the conversion rate.

As far as 30 days goes, good luck. I've been working at it for 7 months with almost no income and another person on this forum has almost broke even after 60 days.

Thank you, to you all who have replied above (and will reply after this).

Heck! I am heartily sorry for not replying so soon. I haven't stated that I don't have an internet connection at home; so, technically, I cannot check on my thread whenever I want to (sob sob sob).

Whoah! My bad (too much for my first post, ey?). Tsk! I should have chosen the "idiot" icon instead of "newbie alert".

Anyway, thank you Sir/Ma'am for the "warm" welcome.

That's the first thing you should work on - getting an internet connection ;)
