Hi,

I'm a new on this forum and also to internet marketing.

I need quality backlinks and I don't know how to get them.

More I read on the subject more confuse I get.

So, I would really appreciate shorts, clear advises.

Thanks

ok, seriously, if you don't have a gmail account, open one up.
Set up an 'alert' for your keyword(s) and G will email you with blogs that have updated recently. These are blogs within your niche based on your keyword. go to these blogs and leave a useful comment on each one. drop a useful link, but don't be spammy about it.

Toffee: Taco's got some good advice there. It's about building up a network of other people with decent sites who are willing link, as well as developing your own.
Now, seeing as you're likely too n00bish to figure out the farming stuff, you can get some software packages such as Autopligg or SENuke.
These are just starting points. Don't rely on them to do all your work.

medicalhumor: Come on now, you know about the no dickrolling the n00b section rule... Wait until he says something stupid anywhere else, sure, but it's not cool in here.

sorry Harv... <hangs head>

I did follow up with some advice though.

I always advise people new to SEO to do three things..

Create a blog on wordpress.com
Install their own wordpress blog on a domain
And get one 3rd party site, can even be a friend with a pr3+ with somewhat related content.

Manage your linking (to primary site), indexed pages, and PRs for those sites - while building content and working on-site optimization for the primary site and you will be going down a path of figuring out what works, what doesn't, and how you work best in this space.

Just my $.02

1. Exchange links with web sites related to your content.

2. Make sure when you exchange links with other sites that they have a page rank equal to your page rank or higher page rank.

3. Make sure you exchange with sites rich in contents.

4. Submit your web site to quality web directories, or use directory submission service.

5. Include your web site link in your signature in all forum.

6. Post in blogs.
