First, I'm a video producer/creator and an online marketer second, so it's probably best that I post this in the NOOB section.
I have a couple offline clients that I have created 10x10x4 campaigns for to send traffic back to their site for opt in. Here's how it works for those who aren't familiar:
I create a series of 20 videos answering questions about a specific industry, say a lawyer. I want one or more of those videos to show up when someone searches "miami lawyer." The video is helpful, educational and not selling anything, but is asking the viewer to go back to a website to opt in to get the other 19 videos. They opt in and my client has a new lead.
I want to do more to help my videos rank for keywords.
Despite adopting the 10x10x4 method, I have not used Traffic Geyser, one because I have heard bad things about their billing practices and two, they don't give reports on where the videos are uploaded. I use Fiverr to get the videos uploaded on to the internet and I get a report back. I am using the "[city] keyword" to optimize the video for the main keywords
I guess my question is, what would you do if you were offering this service, to really give all or one of the videos the best chance at getting google love to rank? What would your recipe be for this?
Would you put effort into buying views, comments and back links to all videos? Or would you do that work to only optimize one video to rank knowing that that's all it takes to get them into the funnel?
Any other layers of promotion I should be using? Such as, social media promotion of all videos?
Any books or products/methods out there you've seen that are good and you'd recommend to me to buy so I can teach myself?
If there are enough people interested in helping me I'd like to use this thread to create a recipe that I (and others) can use to rank online videos.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Any help you can send my way is much appreciated. :bigear:
