Random question it's 6:45 am still up so have nothing much to do but think up random stuff, anyways i was wondering if the networks payout the 15th when are they getting paid From advertisers. I would assume the advertisers pay a few days before the 15th so that the network can make sure everything has cleared and is ready to go for the affiliates?

Anyone have any insight on this, just curious...

From my knowledge, some advertisers pay net60 or net90? Meaning many networks front their affiliates payments (especially weeklies) and run the risk of not getting paid by the advertiser.

I'm not 100% sure though, that's just from what I have read around here

That might be the case but i highly doubt it i was thinking about it i bet the advertisers have to pay and once there budget runs low they have to make an additional payment each time, i don't think any networks would take the risk of "fronting" payments

but i don't have an idea just a assumption

Usually it is betwen NET 3-7.

Also, all serious networks front payments when paying affiliates weekly. It's simply a must, since the affiliate does need to pay of the credit card charge, to continue the campaigns.

Most advertisers pay the network on either net15 or net30 basis. In the case of payments by check, you have to add a few days for delivery. So, networks are almost always paying out affiliates before they're getting paid.
