New landing page



If you're just asking about the design, you've got high quality graphics mixed with grainy low res pics. They kinda clash & make it look inconsistent overall. Don't be afraid to simplify. Your page is busy enough, you might as well add a big ol' arrow pointing to the "join free" button so their eyes stop racing around the page & they do what you want them to do (i.e. sign up).

Of course that's coming from a designer standpoint. Garrett's got the right idea. It doesn't matter what I think looks good, you need to research what your target audience responds to.
 
Well that was a waste of time. Nothing but a pornographic site. Really sad the lengths people will go to to get you to click on their site. Just another example of why the IM industry is getting such a bad name.

edit: but in all seriousnez.. you may be surprised how simplicity can sometimes well outperform the flashy graphics and images these days.. split testing is your friend
 
I am testing the landed on my market. I just wanted to see what some of the guys in the industry thought about it. and see what i could approve on with it. WE have already seen some good success with it. We were 1:27 before with our old lander and we are now 1:17 with this new lander.

I did not post this to have people sign up. was just wanting to see what people thought about it and see what i should change or could improve on.

Thanks for the feed back so far guys, I think i will be changing a few things so it is not so busy thanks thewinslow
 
Personally, I wouldn't have a button to sign up on it unless you're using PPV, it's just an extra step for the user. What would possibly be better would be to have the first part of the signup form on the first page they see.

(although I may be wrong, and you may have already tested that)

P.S. just checked the first signup page, and the model on the left has a weird look about her - weird fake tits, weird nose, weird collagen lips.

On which traffic is that ? Let's say media buys. You all adult guys talk about 1:17-1:27 or so, in reality it's 3 times more if not more:Yahoo_29:

For click to free, that is the number. I have the stats to back it up. And that is on opt-in mail traffic. But bash all you want. Im not here to talk stats I am only here to get ideas and comments on the new landing page but i guess some people just dont understand how to read the first opening post and questions.

I think you need to bring more attention to the Join Free Button. Try adding some jiggling boobies to it.
 
I would test out two things:

sign up form on the main page

Not really feeling the pornographic pics on the left. Instead try having some pics of "real" members on the homepage. With a blinking (online) next to their names. Also say that they're in whenever their user's IP address is.. Use hot, yet believable women.

With these "hookup" sites the main issue is if the user actually believes they can get laid from this site.
