Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to get something started in the affiliate marketing market. I know that a lot of you have a lot of experience in this industry. Any advice for a newbie like me?

Just read a lot at first to get a solid base of knowledge, but don't forget to dive in! The only way you are going to learn is just by trying. You might lose money, but every time you do it's a learning experience.

There's also always a lot of help on these forums and others though so don't be afraid to ask.

Everything you need to learn can be found in this forum, go get the coffee brewing and read on.

Once you have a good idea or two in your head, the only other advice I can give you is to take ACTION. sitting on your ass reading ebooks ain't gonna make you much.


but there are a lot of folks around here who know a lot more about this shit than me, so maybe they'll give you (and me) some more advice.

After your ass heals, I would spend a little more time reading the board and then I would join the NeverblueAds Affiliate Program. Since they are right in your backyard, you might take advantage of more personable service with your AM. Unless, of course, you are a complete douche bag.
 
check out clickbank.com/marketplace and cj.com for products. I personally like clickbank because it pays higher. Start to think about what type of niche you would like to promote (ie. starting a business, real estate investing, etc.)

Read the forums a lot before you get started. There are many ways that you can start affiate marketing without spending money. Writing short articles and including your affiliate link is one of them.
 
don't think it is going to be easy as cake is the first and best advice i can give you.

No it aint that easy. You might have some very serious problems like "cracked ass" (post of Jizzlobber) or even become angry poster like ^
Honestly, if you still have a chance - turn away. This biz is strictly on "day to day performance" basis. Hard work, and not easy dollar, + lot of study. a lot of it
 
If you are really serious about making money online . Go here - This is only only place i would ever recommend if you are dedicated to learning how to make money online. After using all of the methods i learned there, i would never give them up or say goodbye to them. They wont ever turn around and desert you.
 
As a newbie myself..I am doing a lot of research and i read a lot of blogs related to online marketing. I know i don't have much advice to give you because i am also new.But,everyday is a journey. Do your research and read a lot of blogs,there you'll find topics in which would educate you and you could get ideas from other people who have been ahead of us.. Good luck on your journey..
 
Just find good networks and sign up with them. COPEAC and CPA Empire are in my sig, after you sign up let me know I'll make sure you get a good AM that will take care of you. Just keep trying until something sticks and works for ya, that's the best advice you can get right now.
 
i agree with krissybee, just read and search for posts about affiliate marketing, eventually you'll learn just like every other senior here..

You should be very careful in subscribing into an affiliate marketing business co'z theres so many scammers and websites that are not genuine.
