Ok, so I've been fucking up this AM thing for awhile now, making just about no cash whatsover, so I've read all I can on here until my eyes started bleeding. Being a tad more educated, I know where I screwed up and I'm ready to make some changes, but I'm hitting one stumbling block.

Say I have a blog filled with original content about teaching bicycle store owners how to improve their business (that's not really what its about, but bear with me). I want to incorporate AM into the site, but the products I'm finding are about "how to make bicycle tires from scratch", somewhat related, but not really. It wouldn't make a lot of sense to post up about making bike tires when what they really want is info on how to make their business better.

So, am I being to literal with my AM product searches? Would I be better finding products that talk losely about increasing business, or should I scrap the idea of doing AM on this site and work up a different site all together?

The problem I have with the latter option is that I'm dedicated to making this one site kick ass and I'm not sure I'd can do the same to two blogs/sites at once.

Anyway, let the smack down begin.

ummm.....you want to give business advice to businesses.........yet your a broke ass ni*ga yo self..?

GTFO

If your target audience is the business owner (who happens to be a bicycle shop owner), go for the business owner angle. Look for business offers like software, tools, etc.

When I choose what to market, it's based on the user specifically. Get inside their head to find out what your content provides and what product could expand on that.
