Just started my Business Blog about 2.5 months. At first I just had one Blog entry for the first 2 monhts and that was it. I got indexed quick and even started getting Organic Traffic from Google after two weeks or so. About 6 Visitors total. Well it stopped after Google bot crawled a second time on May 12. I guess cause I had NO new blog entries. Well, anyway 2 weeks ago I decided to Post regularly on my Blog .The day after doing these Blog entries the Google Bot crawled and within two days I was receiving about 4 Visitors a day from Google Organic.
This lasted for 5 days until this past Friday. It stopped abruptly.. I didnt know why so I go to Goog Webmaster and saw where the Bot crawled again on this past Friday une 13th.
Well, I finally figured out how to verify my Site on Goog Webmaster last nite. I then checked all the Stats and everything said there were NO errors on my Site.
So then I check out Links in Goog Webaster. I found out I have over 1200 Links !!!!! WTF. I know I have posted in Forums and some exchange Links but this is crazy.
I see one Site THE SMALL BUSINESS BLOG and its has over 750 backlinks to my Site all to different pages on that Web Site. I just posted one comment on that Blog with my Backlink and got this about 2 weeks ago. That was it !!!
Now all the Keywords that I had some good position in the SERPS are totally wiped out by Google overnight !!
I can literally put in my URL with seperate words in the Google Browser and it comes up on the third page. Where just last thursday it was the #1 Position.
And when I put Key phrae Free Money in 5 Minutes I was no.2 position on 1st page. Now when I put this in Google Browser I can NOT even find it among the first 20 pages
And all the other Keywords I ranked with I no longer rank.
Even though I am still small time right now this is totally heartbreaking.
Did I get penalize because of this excessive Backlinking to this one Site?? And how did this 750+ Backlink happen to this one Blog when I just posted one comment there ??
And finally what steps do I need to do to fix this ?? Reconsideration ??
