Hi Folks

I thought I understood but it appears not.

Quite new at this and I would like to figure out how leads work.

What is the trigger that causes a lead to generate a payment to the afillate?

Hey EI,

Quite new too, lemme give this advice thing a shot.

Usually the bottom of the offer page will have a nice novel of fine print. Read it. It's usually hidden in there somewhere.

Sometimes a CC needs to be submitted or S&H needs to be paid, or maybe they need to complete a set number of different offers.

But that's usually where you'll find it.

Or shoot an email to your AM.

Depends on offer. Some are on first page submissions while others are when a user enters a credit card. Expect the higher paying offers to demand more of the user.

Optin Form is the most important aspect in attracting leads. Optin form is to be placed some where in the Landing Page. When ever some one visits the landing page and gives their Name and email id have to shoot an email immediately offering some sort of bonus/freebie etc . Providing value to the visitor is the most important aspect in generating leads.

emptyinbox - It is offer-specific. Some are a simple as an email address, while others (e.g. payday loans) require full contact info + bank account information + SSN.

Some of the networks do a good job of telling you what fields are required before you get credit for a lead (i.e. "where the pixel fires"), while others provide no transparency.

If it's not clear from the info on the affiliate network website, ask your affiliate manager. Most are pretty good at telling you about this.
