Hey, I've seen how helpful noob journals are here and how helpful everyone can be.

Background: I've attempted AM on and off for a year or so making fail domains, and seeing almost no money (never enough to cash out anywhere). Started doing web design for local businesses; I do the design (I'm an art student) and my friend who's now my partner does the code. We actually have a lot of jobs lined up on sites to build, and we're learning more about this stuff slowly.

I want to branch out into more internet marketing though. Just invested 170 into my paypal account and already have a domain purchased for my next website idea. I want to be vague about the business plan, but it's a site targeted for website designers/blog makers. And they will be downloading files, so I'm looking for a good intermission ad or maybe being an affiliate for a downloading service.

My next post will probably be about where my download site is next week.

Recent news with all my projects:
Did more work on my new website that is directed toward blog and website creators. I definitely could of added more content though in this past week.

Finished another site for a local shop. I HATE this woman, and I refuse to make anymore sites for her LOL. I don't think I'm ever going to work with a female again.

My mom is in a similar field as me (graphic designer, web designer) and she's talking about hooking me up with some big jobs! she said it's a lot of stuff similar to social networks and stuff of the sort. I can't wait! My portfolio is going to be looking great by 20!

Me and my buddy are still trying to figure out how to change the layout to oscommerce for our ecommerce site. It's a real long brutal process. Anyone have experience with oscommerce?
