Open question to the Affiliates

I was a pretty serious poker player, I got into that when I was in the military and eventually got pretty good, I didn't play "professionally", but I'd usually make $2k+ a month part time.
When the legislation passed against online gaming I started thinking about starting a business. It was going to be a free play poker thing for bars, and I was going to need a website. So I grabbed a copy of dreamweaver and started learning.
So I was in the business thread at 2+2, a huge poker community exchanging ideas with other members. There were a couple of guys there that strictly did internet marketing and playing poker for a living, and a few of us decided to start an internet marketing forum project, where we'd share links, resources, ideas, ect.
My first website was a failure to say the least, but someone on that forum suggested wickedfire to me. Haven't looked back since.

Waiting on the effing lawyers so I could launch a REIT after I closed my hedge fund.
I threw $50 at the internet on a whim and got back about 50x my money and I was off. 2 weeks later I was running my first white label and never looked back.
Just as well the REIT would not have worked by the time the SEC got around to approving it...Anyone want a really cheap shell company that is approved to be publicly listed?

I got fired from a job for "swearing while on duty," which was a fuckin bullshit lie, then my failing Bakery (which I got that job to support) closed down. I went on unemployment and sat around looking for ways to make money online- found Shoemoney, then upgraded to WF after talking to some people. Made more money than I had ever made at any job. Then I had to stop because I'm in the middle of a bankruptcy on the Bakery and can't have business income.
Now I get up at 5 a.m. every morning to iron my clothes before I go to work. 3 more months then I can do whatever I want!

Watched some lame ebooky video about AdSense and decided to start my own websites. Got bored of AdSense after awhile and decided to switch over to the dark side to make the big bucks. Been jamming ever since.
There have been so many websites, forums, and just weird turn of events
that if I hadn't been through, well, I'd literally be flipping burgers right now.

Some guy was asking about ad networks to run on his website, I suggested Google's (at the time) new Adsense program. The next day he told me he had already made over $100. I knew immediately what to do, because I already knew plenty about building websites. I gave affiliate marketing my first try a few months later and failed miserably.

I was using overture and running an ecommerce site for a business in 2002. I had no idea what affiliate marketing was, and was making them money because of overture. I was amazed at the traffic and how well I was doing, but I had no idea the potential of PPC advertising back then. To me, I was just some kid running a site. Didn't know what I was doing, but was pleased with the results as was my employer. Just didn't really think about getting it work to my advantage or what was really going on.

WF is pretty neat, I really like this forum a lot.
