I currently have only one AdSense account in my name (not company name) getting around 8k clicks a day. Since I want to try arbitrage and other stuff I'm thinking about opening a new account without being too concerned about loosing this one for whatever reason. I saw many people recommending it, but here are my questions:

1) I'll open another account on my Company's name. Is it ok to use my name on the Company account too (I assume they ask for a name and not only the company name)?

2) If I open this account I'll be logging on 3 different accounts daily with the same IP address, would that be any problem at all?

3) If I have a site smart priced on one of this accounts, can I just move them to another account (I know they're likely to get smart priced there too, but just wondering)?

As you can see I'm a little too paranoid but well, it is Google right...

Thanks

1. They do ask for a name, but their TOS states that each person and each business is allowed their own account.

2. I asked the same thing because my wife and I each have an account and I log in to both and they replied that it was tottally fine but thanks for letting them know.

3. The smartpricing stopped when I moved them to the new account for me. The clickrates are back down now though.

When I set up a new account, I just pulled my ads off for a day and submitted and they approved it in less than 24 hours, put up the new code and I was rolling.

Heh, I whish I was earning 8k a day, I just get 6-8k clicks a day. I can't really spread those because they're all from the same site. They're actually all from the same Ad Unit.

I have other sites that I can submit to apply so that will be no problem. I should do it today or monday, thanks a lot everyone.

What kind of traffic does the site get? what's the CTR?

I really rather not say much, but I'm not making a huge gold mine. Its a very big site (200k+ uniques a day) but it's outside of the US so the CPC is not as high. CTR is nothing special, 1.60%, I just have lots of impressions.
To top it all AdSense goes up and down a lot, plus I think I'm being smart priced, thats why I want to try with another account too.

The funny part is that the smart priceing started when Google assigned me a rep to recommend me other ad positions in other pages, that kinda pissed me off.

Since we're discussing that, did anyone else ever notice big changes on revenue by putting your site on another account?

My revenue went up quite a bit when I switched accounts, but it is slowly coming back down on my myspace sites. My blog has stayed up there, but it only makes like $4 a month anyways.

Jdog, how much accounts do you have?

another question....

is it true that if you were banned from adsense and open another account with a family member name and SSN, that google will check the whois on the site they use to get into adsense and if its has the information of a banned memeber they will also banned the newly created account?

I'm not sure if they'll go this far, but I know someone who managed to get his account some time after his site got banned (like a year or so). If you want to get back into adsense with a specific site that was banned you might have a hard time, but if you just want an adsense account for other stuff I recommend you sign up with a totally different site, or maybe even a blogger blog.

Yeah basically i want to open another Adsense account to do arbit. I have been reading this forums for sometime now and made about 20 arbit site ready to rock and roll!...but I'm just waiting to get my orginal Adsense account appeal (doesn't look too good as of now)

Maybe I'll try to sign up again using a new site....but isn't my name and SSN is on thier BANNED list?.....I think I won't get a chance to ahve another try with Adsense.

I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't apply with the same name. Get some trustworthy friend of family member and use their info and make sure the site you apply with is not under your name on the whois info (but I doubt they check this far).
