Well, today I finally broke even with my PPC arbitrage for yogahelp.org !!!!

I spent 25 at 7search.com and I just made $26.00+ today so far. I switched the site from having navigation to different pages on my site to only be 1 page, and the CTR jumped big time. Gives people nothing more to do then CLICK THE ADS!

I just thought Id share this with everyone so that people new to this like myself, will get encouraged to keep going and not feel like its a washup. theres definantly money to be made in PPC Arbitrage.

I wouldn't rinse and repeat just yet. He spent $25 today and made $26, his profit is $1.

I have a question - is the layout of that site quite normal with regards to most arbitrage sites? I know that the 3 arbitrage sites I have tried so far did not have nearly as much "ad focus" and were quite a lot more basic (link unit under the top banner, 300 x 250 ad inside the content row, search box at bottom).

So is this sort of layout the key do you think? (I havent turned a profit yet due to low CTR and $0.10 clicks). I could be getting smart priced, Im trying to target $7 keywords, but still get the odd $1.50 click which is OK.

Anyway, keen to get peoples thoughts on this layout, and whether this type is the "norm".

PS: Well done Devore

This is a HORRIBLE arbitrage template.

What is your CTR?

You need to be goin for at least 40%+.

Condense the top header text, get rid of those ugly ass pictures and the ads below, blend the 336x280 completely and make the links dark blue or something, but not black.

Thank you, that'll be $500.

I only have around 24 or so keywords for the site.

engaged, the top ad is the one getting me the most money ;) I agree about the top header text though, I will be making that smaller tomorrow.

This is my first arbitrage site, so that is why I am posting this, to let people know it IS possible to get money from it, and to get tips so my next one will be better.

Of course the top ads get the highest CTR, the other ones are way below. Get rid of the top ones and the dumbass pictures and blend the other ones and bring it right above the content and below the header.

That's another $250.

Edit: If you don't have this fixed in 48 hours I'm making a yoga site to show you how it's done and I'll be taking a lot of your profit.

engaged, I changed stuff on the site now. ;)

sknydave, I'll be rinsing and repeating soon. a few more days from now.

anyone else have info on how to make the site better than how it is NOW? (i've changed a lot of the stuff to what you already said)

I'd still move the ads with pics next to them over to the left and align it with the text.

This is what's good about arbitrage, at least for the design and layout side of things, people can give out advice and not have to worry about you taking their niche.

Let us know how your new layout goes!

I attached a screenshot with some of my initial thoughts on your layout.

It's good that you are profitable, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Could I ask you for the definition of "better" re: the photos? I enjoy photography and am curious.
