Do some merchants allow you to purchase adds on the search engine and just put your affiliate code in for the URL instead of sending traffic to a landing page first?

I could see why they would be against this, but I'm still the one paying for each click and don't want to lose any traffic at the landing page.

Some of them allow, just check their TOS or mail them. One problem you might have is that someone else might be doing this and Google won't allow 2 people to do it (for example, there can only be one ad pointing to amazon.com).

Again, your best bet is to check with the merchant and see if none is already doing it!

I tryed setting up redirects from domains and subdoimains with adwords and they always end up taking the ad down after a day or two.

so put up your own landing page. problem solved.

i do send traffic directly to sponsors on certain offers. it can work very well with some, horrible with others....

Thanks for the help.

I sent an email and I'm working on a landing page incase I can't do it.
