PHPizabi

I've been looking at PHPfox but don't feel like paying for it just yet. Then I came accross PHPizabi, it's free but still in developement and it appears to be going well.

I'm just curious if any one has really used it and what they thought.

I've set it all up and started going through it all planning on how I would modify everything to my needs.

But before I dump 100 hours into it I think I need some opinions on wether phpizabi (free) or phpfox ($300 1year liscense) would be the way to go.

I've seen some pretty good looking sites made with PHPiazbi.
Of course there is lack of good support and features.

It really depends if you think the time it will take to customize izabi is worth less than the $300 it would cost for phpfox.

I just downloaded it yesterday. I haven't installed yet, so if you beat me to it, post your thoughts.

Well I like phpizabi for what I'm going to do with it and the $300 I would save I could use to out source some of the heavier stuff I want to do.

The only thing that blows is the lack of support and documentation that I can find. I can't sign up for their forum because I think they are moving it to a different support forum or some shit.

makes me want to try and start up a social network. now just to think of a good domain name...

Its been something I've considered for a long time.
I just don't want to be another social network that blends in with the rest of the noise.

Anyone know if Alicia was released yet, I havent been able to access izabi forums, after I payed a wopping $10.00 for vip prefered status......

PHPbb has a track record for being hacked izabi is 10x worse!
