If not listed above, write-in what you use.

Why did you choose your CMS/ design platform?

Do you run multiple CMSs for different websites? Why the differentiation?

I use wordpress the most, because I know it the best but I don't think it's ever stopped me from creating a site the way I want to.

I use WordPress for niche blogs / content websites and do designing in photoshop.

I use Notepad++ and Dreamweaver as code editors.

Can anyone recommend a good Wordpress skin or plugin that makes things look more like a regular website with content, than a blog? I've been mainly editing the ones I use, but that gets tedious when trying to scale things.

I've filtered through so many of them over the years it's hard to remember them all. At this point the majority of my non-static sites are WP, with probably 25% or less out of Drupal, Joomla and TikiWiki, in order of frequency.

WP is just freakishly useful and flexible.

I use these themes for my content sites. I love them.

It costs $27, but there are 12 different versions of the theme.

wordpress is the obvious choice now, also spending time with Joomla these days.

You can build out WP to look like almost anything -- it doesn't have to be "bloggy" at all. To me that's one of its greatest strengths.

Here are some WP resources that I use or to which I refer on a regular basis:
