Posting Comments

On wordpress, it's easy to post comments to individual "articles". Is it easy to recreate this and allow a "comments section" for each page of a standard website and if so, recommended script?

Also wondering about scripting for collecting/maintaining e-mail database for subscribers of a newsletter. Easiest method?

It can be easily done if you have some basic php/mysql knowledge.

I don't know of any specific scripts, though.

I have no php/mysql knowledge... perhaps i should be reading some books.

But a script would be better!
