So, I jumped in and started some arbitrage. 1st day I got one click for $2 via overture traffic. Next day one click for $1.50 via overture traffic. Yesterday I got 3 clicks at $.50 a click off of miva traffic. So far today 2 clicks from miva at $.25 each. What the hell? Am I being smart priced, or do I have too many ads?

I'm running a link unit under the header (looks like navigation), a 160x600 skyscraper on the left that matches the real navigation on the right, and a 336x280 with pictures next to each ad in the middle of the content.

I also have noticed that miva's traffic is more international, would that play in to it?

You can't judge anyting with so little clicks, spend $100 in a day, see what happens, then analyze.

You should try and find search trends and compete for that...I think Aaron Walls SEO FireFox Plugin makes it so easy!

I will look in to that. I have to use explorer at work, but I use firefox at home.

Thanks.

I have a feeling you may be getting smartpriced. My arbitrage AdSense account got smartpriced and I saw CPCs slowly falling until it wasn't profitable to do arbitrage anymore.

I'm leaning in that direction now too, because I got a click yesterday on my blog that is way low too. I'll see if it turns around and go from there.

Is it even worth pursuing arbitrage right now with AdSense? I haven't given it a try yet but I'm leaning towards waiting until YPN goes public. AdSense just doesnt seem too profitable anymore (in arbitrage).

I keep seeing people blame Smart Pricing for their arbitrage problems. I'm a newb to all this but it seems like Smart Pricing will ruin most chances for good arbitrage. What's everyones thoughts on this?

I don't blame arbitrage for my possible smart pricing. I have 2 myspace resource sites on the same account that I think is screwing me over.

Sorry Jdog, I wasn't putting you down...I just keep seeing smart pricing poping up as a possible cause to arbitrage issues. Just worried Smart Pricing will Fuck my chances at making money with arbitrage.

All I have to say is that I started out making 5x what I was spending with arbitrage. Over the course of a few days each and every site in the AdSense account saw lower and lower CPC's until I had to stop sending traffic.

I do have an AdSense click tracker installed and alot of my traffic was clicking 2 and 3 times on ads. My guess is they clicked on an ad, got confused and backed up, then clicked on another ad several times. Obviously, the traffic wasn't converting for the advertisers and my arbitrage account got smartpriced.

So have you tried YPN?

I didn't take it that way. I was just giving some more background. I just got another click for $.10.

This sucks.

Anybody have a YPN invite?

well one of the things i have noticed is that if you have an account that has a terrible CTR then you should take adsense off of that site. I also have a myspace site and it was giving me 1000's of imps and not to many clicks, and the CTR was like 3%,,, I took the code off of the site and within a couple of days my clicks were paying a lot more.

So it is safe to say that if you have a really bad CTR on one site that it will bring down the whole account. I have seen it and this is just what I have observed , I changed it, make more cash per click now.

Individual Results may Vary

Well, hopefully my wife is the proud owner of her very own adsense account with 2 myspace sites! Hopefully that will work out for me. If not I will probably just sell off the 2 sites. They make about $3 a day without lifting a finger on them.

They both have around a 3% ctr as well.

If I don't have adsense or YPN account what is the best alternative PPC I can use for arbitrage.
