I've put my feet in the water with $35 using Google Adwords. I've now learned why tracking is so important. I've been really confused about sub-ids and how they work exactly so I haven't been able to set up any basic tracking that'll tell me which keywords are valuable and which aren't. The only thing I have that tells me which keywords are valuable is in Google Adwords when it comes to impressions and CTR other than that I have no conversion statistics once the prospect reaches my landing page. What are the must haves for basic tracking to get a PPC campaign safely up and on it's feet? Right now as it is PPC without tracking is like painting a portrait of a detailed landscape in the dark.
