Thanks.

Thanks to the guys that provided great feedback. It's greatly appreciated.

I am not sure why some of you guys are so hostile. It's a forum. I posted a question. If you feel that mine was a dumb question then don't participate. If you have something to share then please do it without all of the "fuck this" and "shut your yap", etc. It's not how friends or colleagues or even competitors talk to one another... Geez...

Yes. I was being very specific in my query. A lot of times the answers given are very short or vague, etc. I undertsand that people are trying to protect their turf or market or whatever. I was not prying into that... never asked what offer you are running... that is something everyone has to figure out for themselves... "What works", etc.

My only reason for asking the initial question is that I wanted to make sure that with a little trial and error that you guys are making money. It is expected to lose a few hundred dollar bills by testing offers and that's fine, but once the testing is over and the throttle is pushed to the floor on three different offers each with a $350.00 per day budget I don't want to lose my $$$$. Enough said... Thanks again... You know who you are...

someone wise once told me "Some people do really struggle with these types of questions and don't understand they're irrelevant"....
i tend to forget about this and jump to conclusions too fast sometimes.

i just don't like telling someone my 'formula' (as you can imagine). you have to work for it and do things yourself.

apologies for coming off harsh.
i just like to say 'shit' and 'fuck' because i'm allowed to :)

No worries. It's all good. I swear all the time at people who drive like Shit! Lot's of bad drivers down here in Florida. Thanks for the apology. You are a gentleman!

Even though someone is new to a particular business, it's not right to assume they are not competent, smart and successful in other business ventures or in life in general. I always "try" to give people the benefit of the doubt unless they are arrogant. Those folks deserve to get mashed.

-Peace.

I think the best way to learn on this forum or nearly every other forum is to "read between the lines". The big earners on here are giving a TON of good advice to newbies. But they won't give specifics of course because it's a way of:

1. keeping competition low
2. Separating the lazy from the ones who are willing to work hard.

Anecdote: Yesterday I went to coffee with a couple of super affiliates. These guys earn a lot. The problem is that when they get together it is a game of trying to pry as much information out of each other, without giving away any competitive secrets.

For example, I run the merchant program for the link in my sig. It converts at about 20% which is exceptional for a sale program. When I mentioned this, one of the affiliates looked at the other and said, "why didn't you tell me about that?" and the other just smiled and looked away.

This is just the nature of the industry we have chosen.
