Okay, a quick back story:

I have a client (I write copy), and I helped this gentleman put together a simple ebook/lander and it converts at a decent %.

Here's the issue. He was of the understanding that he'd throw it on CB and people would push it. He already does will with other businesses, so it was a little side project. Nobody is picking it up on CB. Of course it continues to show some real promise because it does seem to drum up a sale every 28-35 unique visitors. A sale is in the $20s. He hasn't played with price, and he has little interest in doing so.

Basically he's bored, and I've now been asked (he's paying me) to work him through the sale of the site/ebook. I'll get a cut of whatever he sells it for.

So... off to Flippa here shortly, but I want this to be done right because the sale price matters to me.

Suggestions on how you would manage this? Run up some real stats (he has very little traffic/sales to speak of. It's in the trading realm, and he ran a adwords campaign for about half a day before realizing ppc costs for trading stuff and ebooks don't necessarily go hand in hand. Of course in the right hands....)

Again, it's in the trading realm, and "trading ______" is spendy in the world of adwords.

I really don't know.

Anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.
