I've been in the industry for some time, and have had an account with NeverBlue for years. I recently ran one of their offers on fb ads for a couple weeks. We're talking about 4-5k in revenue here. My ROI was pretty small, maybe 10-15%. The advertisement was about as clean as it gets, the complete opposite of misleading.
So then I tried to build my own landing page to increase my margins, and the landing page was definitely misleading. It told the visitor that they were signing up for a game that did not exist on the actual site. The demographic is 100% the same and I'm sure the majority of those users went on to play games on the site, but that's not the point. I ran $62 worth of that ad. The leads that came from that ad were 2% of the total leads I sent to the offer.
I wouldn't even argue about not getting paid the $100 that ad made. I was told I would not be paid any of the revenue on the offer. Considering my overall ROI for the offer was about 15%, that's a decent hit. Here's the thing, I offered both NB and the advertiser not only screenshots of the ads, but to go on my fb ads account. I told them they can check for themselves where 98% of the leads came from, and how clean those ads were. They never did. I've also been with the network for over 2 years and made a decent amount with them over the years.
What's your opinion? Should I have been paid the 98%? Or at least covered for my expenses on it?
