Prosper202 migration to a new domain hosted on a new server

Hi,

Since Tracking202 support has gone bad I have nowhere to ask for an advice but here

I can not login into my P202 after I imported MySQL database from the old server to a new domain hosted on a new VPS server. Here is steps I have completed to migrate my Prosper:

1. Before the migration I installed the P202 on the new domain
2. Created a new login and a new password for my P202
3. Then I imported the whole database from the old server via SSH

Now when I try to log in Prosper says "Password/ login incorrect". Before the import of the database I could log in to the new P202 without a problem.

I thought maybe the new login/pass does not work because I use MySQL database from the old server with an old account settings. So I tried to use a login and pass of the old P202, but this did not work too. Also, I tried to reset the password but it does not recognize neither my username nor my email.

I got stuck here. Maybe someone of you do have a clue why I can not log in to my P202 and how to fix that?

Because when you imported your db, you imported the old username and password too.
They are stored in the databse.
Try logging in with your old data and see if it works.

This it was the first thought that came to my mind. Yes, I tried to log in to P202 with my old username and pass and it didnt work, "Your username or password is incorrect".

Ok , use phpmyadmin and go to the table 202_users.
Then delete the content of the field user_pass.
You should be able to login with your username and with a blank pass

bbrock32 thanks for the tip. I solved the issue by doing it in other way. I imported the whole 202_users table from the old server. Now I can log in with my old username and pass.

You can just edit the 202-config.php file with the new username and password if you want to use the new db.
