I'm just starting in affiliate marketing and kind of gravitate to how-to's, learning software, etc. With those kind of products and website pages in mind, what is better: Having one or few high quality websites with many pages or having many lower quality (but still relevant) websites with fewer pages?
I realize having many high quality websites is best, but I'm referring to when you just start out.

A: Having one or few high quality websites with many pages

The WH gurus have been claiming for a decade that content is king.

The benefits are many. A few might be:

1. More pages with decent content (even a funny pic) gives more
chance of others linking to you without you even lifting a finger.

2. More pages with decent content means that you can optimize
for more search queries.

3. Google considers sites with more information to be more valuable.
This is NOT anything new, they have always preached this.

Thanks Boompa, I always knew that quality was the best, but didn't know if you should diversify early and then improve quality or if you should build quality one website at a time diversifying slowly. I think you were suggesting the latter?

I think everyone would tell you the same in a broad sense but as above, quality first, diversify after (not necessarily later). Too many people try to hit all targets at once starting in affiliate marketing and they won't see an aggregate success, too many little hits here and there that they will end up putting funds into those specific niches/offers or campaigns. That usually drys the well up quite fast. If you have some quality action going consistently then you can you that to scale and then diversify all you want to test what you feel comfortable...all the while maintaining quality - you have the dual ability at that point and will have data to back it up

If we use SEO and have no experience in buying aged domain, I think it is better to use a lot of domain / minisite than authority site. Because we can get benefit from keyword in domain name (exact keyword as somain name).

If we use heavy blast technique, i think it is better to use aged domain for big authority site.
