Quick breakdown of a loan offer method I’m testing in Nigeria

Just wanted to share a little strategy I’ve been playing around with for loan/finance offers in Nigeria.

It’s super basic, nothing fancy at all — but it’s been bringing in results, so it might help anyone else targeting this GEO.

The Offer

I’m running personal loan sign-up offers from a finance affiliate network.

Pretty straightforward stuff: people either fill out a short loan form or download a loan app.

The payout per lead isn’t huge, but once the numbers start coming in, it grows nicely.

Traffic Source

I decided not to bother with paid ads. Instead, I stuck to free traffic:

  • WhatsApp status + different groups (Nigerians basically live on WhatsApp)
  • Facebook finance/loan groups
  • Quora answers — tons of Nigerians asking about quick loans, emergency cash, etc.

Landing Page Setup

Dropping raw affiliate links is useless; they get ignored or blocked instantly.

So I made a simple one-page site on Google Sites with:

  • A headline like “Need Quick Cash in Nigeria? Get Instant Loan Approval”
  • A few bullets explaining fast approval, no collateral, etc.
  • A big button sending people to the loan offer.

Results

Posting consistently brought in signups.

Not crazy numbers yet, but enough to show the method actually works.

Key Points

  • Always use a landing page — don’t ever paste CPA links directly.
  • Loan/finance offers convert well here because people always need fast money.
  • Free traffic + showing up daily = steady leads over time.

If you want to see what the landing page looks like, here’s a simple sample:

Hope someone finds this useful. If you’ve got ideas on scaling Nigerian loan offers, I’m open to suggestions.
