Ranking Multiple sites for same Keyword

I am planning on building several sites in one niche. I was wondering as long as I have different hosts and private domain information I should be fine from goggle being able to tell all the sites are mine?

As long as you don't link them with Adsense or GWMT you should be okay.

Why do you want to use webmaster tools and analytics..

What would you prefer to use Blogspotter? I like look at WMT to find out what google is providing my site and for Analytics I like to know all the users coming to my site/where they are from ect ect. If I use hostgator under the same account but add on additional hosting packages that should be fine?

The goal is to prevent any sort of connection between your sites. The risk of using the same Analytics/AdSense, and arguably WMT, is making a connection. Different email addresses doesn't exactly cut it when you're logging into the account with the same IP.

For analytics, check out Clicky @ GetClicky.com. There is not an alternative for webmaster tools.

I don't wanna look at WMT... Nothing that I can't live without. For analytics, you can use statcounter, extremetracking sitemeter etc for basic, and if you want to dig further, then piwik or clicky.

You can use google analytics on your primary site though... Avoid using it in all, unless you are going to use different IP to login.
