Remote Login?

Hey guys... I was wondering...

Is it possible to have a script that will allow me to click a button on an HTML page on my local machine that will log me in to another website?

I have a custom homepage, that sits in a folder on my HD, and it has all my shyte on it...
I want to put a "submit" button, or a link, or whatever,on it, that will log me in to another website, with my login info somewhere inside the code already, so it's automatic.

An example of one of the many things I want it for...

I want figure out how to automatically log-in to my PayPal account, and once in, grab a value or image, and display it on the home page, so I can see my current in/out stats, or balance.

Get what I mean?

It's possible, but it all depends on the functionality of the login mechanism of the remote website. Sometimes, everything you need is a bit of PHP+cURL, sometimes its difficult because of captchas etc... I think that remotely login into PayPal would be a tough job...
