"I am going to be a writer when I grow up!"
I must be grown up because I just agreed to a steady writing job that will pay me enough to keep me out of the call center for my second job!

I have been going week to week calculating what I made writing and what I made working extra hours at the group home and deciding if I had to go back to the call center (I left a few weeks before Christmas).

I thank you WF, because writing for pay all started here on the forum with an inquiry if I'd write for pay from L146705 on this thread and it has grown since! My writing jobs mainly come from WF members.

I'd much rather be at home working in my pj's, seeing my kids, and making my own hours. I love walking around the park on a break with my girls instead of sitting in a break room watching the clock so I'm not 1 minute late and worrying about it showing up on my weekly schedule adherence printout.

Next I'll be writing more for my own projects and having passive (set it and forget it and collect the checks) income.

Self-employment is better than wage earning employment and passive income beats them both!

That's great Jan. Good for you. As long as your doing something that you love to do, it almost feels like not working at all. Wish you continued success.

Your sites seems to be down, Jan.

PM me your prices....
I'm looking for additional writers...

That is very cool Jan. The side benefits of working for yourself are pretty substantial so if you can make it work that is awesome.

Jan, are you taking in to account how much the extra time is going to make you? Now that you don't have that job, you should be able to spend more time writing = more money.
