I am kinda new to SEO trying to rank real estate page and was looking at other websites for keywords, built, links etc. How does this page homes-laguna.com rank #1 for laguna real estate with no content and 2 incoming links and little to no outgoing and barely any content? Anyone can explain what i am missing or should be looking for?
 


I'm not even seeing the result you're talking about on the 1st page for "laguna real estate".

If it was ever up there it's gone now. Could've been the Google dance where new sites bounce around a little then settle way back in the results.

I guess no serious person can give you a garantee that your site will ever reach #1. Seriously. You can try this or that methods of promotion and see what`s working better. Mabe some social traffic will help you to lift this site in SERP.
SEO isn`t a f**ng magic wand, pal. OK sometimes it is but not in your specific case. First af all you have a cheap domain. This is important. People dont like domains with hyphens. Also you have cozy but cheap design in it. To have costly design isnt necessary to be #1, but it`s very hard to promote your site artificially. It`s looking dull, pal.

Did you even read the thread? Obviously not. OP is wondering why a site is ranking, it's not his site. This is the newbie section, we try not to be dicks here. And if you are going to be a dick at least please read the thread. If you'd like to be an asshole you should come hang out in the STS (shooting the shit) section with the rest of the gang. I'm sure they'll love you.

Thanks! Was not my site thought it was a shitty site that is why I was confused on how it made it up in the search but like you guys pointed out it is gone now so was just a glitch or something....

Glad to see there's support for the newbs! Had I not seen all the positive feedback i would probably be hesitant to post my questions.

JMFEJG, I too did a search under "laguna real estate" and that domain doesn't show up. I went 5 pages deep and didn't see it. Was that the phrase you were using?
 
laguna isn't a real place, he means 'laguna beach real estate'. it's a partial local result which usually appears when G thinks you're searching for a business.
