Alright guys, I'm setting up my first offer. I'm in the process of getting the website set up at the moment, but I've never done this before and I'm a little lost on how this all works with getting the tracking pixel set up, the back end CRM aspect, and hooking in the merchanting.
I'm currently having the landing pages done up, 3 different variations, which will capture contact info, then that will lead to the credit card info page. After that will be a thank you page. The pixel will fire once they hit the thank you page.
The problem I have is that while this all sounds nice, I don't really know about the backend, or hooking it up with the merchant account to process the credit cards, or what it even means to fire the tracking pixel. I just read that somewhere.
So a little help would be nice. I have done WordPress development before, and I know that there are plugins that you can use to do CRM type stuff. I can program in PHP so if it would just make sense to do it all myself instead of converting into a WordPress theme I can do that as well. I'm still not sure about the tracking pixel stuff and I haven't been able to find a super clear explanation on what all I have to do to make it work correctly. I did read the Wikipedia article, etc but did not find any of these resources that great. Perhaps it's a lot easier than I'm thinking?
