Should I do a big SB blast to my money site?

Test it on another site you own?

I'm still pretty new but I've blasted direct to my site from day 1. Haven't sent many blasts lately but I've never been in the sandbox and never been hit with any noticeable penalty. Askimet is kinda mad at me though.
 


I hit three of my sites with 10k blasts, same 10k pages for all three sites. One of them went from #16 to not even in the top 1000. Another one took a shitter from #20's to 250's and now it's back up to higher 20's.

You never know until you do it. They all stay in the sandbox for different times, if they even go. All mine went. And always come back stronger.
 
If you're asking..... Then 'no'

If you're not working on multiple projects and have a couple sites to test and some to burn then you shouldn't be doing anything to the one site you have that could be considered hazardous unless you just like testing with your 'money site'


I've burned a few projects with SB blasts. Meh. Maybe it will come back one day, but i've already moved on.

I've also had SB blasts help a site.
 
Blast away. It will get you where you need to go. The only problem is the blast links never stick. I always lose 70% after 4 months. It sucks and takes alot of $ to maintain. Becasue once you are there.... there is no going back....

I would agree...first, let the site age a bit, do your standard mixed linked foundation (social bookmark, web 2.0, article directory, etc.), then once you are ready to sustain consistent blasting, start it up.

As you've been hearing from people above, once you open up that can of worms, be sure to keep blasting that puppy consistently (1 x a week, 3 x's a week, whatever) or you'll jack up your link profile, velocity, and trust.

This is just from my experience from testing...you'll have to test yourself to find out what your secret sauce is.
