So I got this credit card offer on FB and its got like a 0.02% CTR and only had about 33 clicks (first day) none of them have converted supposedly. It killed my budget of $25 I put up and now I'm wondering if I should keep it open a lil longer and hope it gets some conversion or just move on to something else? I'm having seconds thought about running that offer anyway. I'd hate to kill the offer too early but I figure I'd at least have 1 conversion out of 33 clicks or maybe I'm being too impatient. This is my first day ever doing any kind of offer at all btw so excuse my newbness lol.

I also have another offer that has been waiting for approval since before I even made the offer I was talking about does it normally take 2 days + to approve an offer?

Also I've been bidding in the middle of the suggested FB bid value is that ok? iirc its around $0.30 CPM.

Also in my Neverblue account I can't see the card offer that launched but the other offer that never got approved says its launched also another offer I never even made and ad for but with no views or anything (obviously) so what gives? Both campaigns are direct linking if that matters.

normally would flame your ass but since your at least diving in and trying something ill give ya a few tips..

.02% just ain't gonna cut it for ad CTR period. the better your CTR the cheaper the clicks get you can scale the costs down when you find the ad that gets good CTR..

I don't like running anything south of .08-.09 at the least.. 33 clicks is virtually nothing to tell you info about an offer unless you are targeting an ultra small demo which i assume you are not.

Hopefully you are submitting multiple ad copies, images, and demos instead of just 1 or 2 ads.

There is no magic number of how many clicks to get to test an offer infact there is a whole thread on here discussing this issue.. focus on creating lots of ads and EXPECT to lose some $$$, because you will be targeting a variety of demo's and once you see the ones that work that is when you can cut the bad ones and possibly even switch to CPM to get cheaper clicks.

as far as approval... yeah facebook will take awhile sometimes 24-48 hours or more depending on how tired the intern is from pushing the disapprove button all day..

dont know whats up with your neverblue account test the link and make sure its not pointing to something different or has an international ip redirect if your targeting outside the US. if anything ask your AM..

there... you've been spoon fed.. happy MLK day..

HUGE TIP: Never dump an offer until you've spent at least 30-40 times the payout testing it. Don't make any changes to anything until you've done that. If you still haven't gotten a lead after that, go ahead and spend another 20 times the payout just to see what happens.

Try following my advice and then come back and post your results. Good luck!

Not to hijack the thread, but I just received this in e-mail regarding ad disapproval:

"Additionally, the ad shouln't suggest that the person in the image is talking to the user that receives the ad."

What the fuck does that mean?

"Hi I'm Jenny! Come view my profile at Singlesnet."
Is it that tough?

Nope, not tough at all. I thought that the comment was somehow relevant to my ad specifically, which it wasn't(not that you would have any way of telling) They are fucking ridiculous. I e-mail them for some specifics, and they just e-mail me back with the same fucking bullshit every fucking time. Cocksuckers. Okay, time to stop being a whiny douche.

You're not gonna get any consistent results when your spending fuckin pennies. WTF is 33 clicks gonna tell you about any offer?

Thanks for your input. I'll def make some changes to the offer and see how that goes. Now I got another issue I got disapproved for my other offer I got this message as the reason

"The destination URL of this ad either violates Facebook's Advertising Guidelines or could not be reviewed. As ads are reviewed from multiple locations, all sites must be viewable regardless of the viewer's location. In addition, all sites must be running and functioning properly. If the landing page could not be reviewed due to visitor IP restrictions, a URL typo or other site outage, please make the necessary changes before submitting this ad again. Sites are also prohibited from linking to proprietary file types (.pdf, .doc, etc,) initiating automatic downloads, or trapping a user's browser in any way when a user chooses to leave the site. Sites that include content or behavior prohibited by sections 2, 3, and 14 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines will not be accepted in any form and should not be resubmitted."

So I checked the link in both my browsers and bypassed the tracking202 link to see if that was the problem but they work so I don't get it and I don't think its a international IP issue since I targeted the US only.

Also on one other offer I made this morning I got an e-mail saying it was approved around 8am so I just checked it and it says Disapproved and with the same response as above WTF are they on?

I don't mind spending more money on the ad at all I"m thinking to make changes and keep it running.
