so we have a good thread on arbitrage, should we work on something for another area like affiliate marketing? arbitrage is great and good income but should only be 1 part of any internet moguls portfolio. maybe we could do a tutorial on testing offers, how to go about it and what tests to conduct.

I like these threads because I can always learn something new! In any profession if you stop learning and trying to get new information you quit advancing so... any input?
 


i'm still new to arbitrage and will continue to work at it until successful. i will put any other ventures on hold until then. BUT, i believe knowledge is power and there is always time to learn new things, even if you don't put them to use right away. i think having a section on that would be a great idea.
 
there should be 2 sections... PPC Marketing and Arbitrage ( or label it Adsense Arbitrage)

People are thread crapping thinking the post is about one of them and posting about the other.
 
well when people think they can define arbitrage as affiliate marketing witch believe me I have had people do who the fuck knows what to call anything lol but that was not the point of the thread!
 
rob, so aff or should we start with learning how to run tests? I am thinking we do testing because that would help both aff and arbitrage

I'd love to learn more about Affiliate Marketing and put it into action.
 
I agree, I like arbitrage, but I like many others dont like to put all my eggs in one basket. Right now I am doing some arbitrage, some affiliate marketing and also trying to build a huge network of content websites around a huge niche to dominate it.

I wouldnt mind seeing some solid threads on dominating a niche or a nice thread on affiliate marketing. I tryed to spark one awhile back, but it died out.

I personally would like to see how to put a good test into action. maybe we can run a test and learn how to promote an affiliate offer at the same time?
 
YES, I totally agree. Please let's actually talk about Affiliate Marketing in the "affiliate marketing" section!! I know DruSam made a similiar request a few months ago to try and get people to give arbitrage a break and start discussing affiliate marketing but it didn't stick. This entire thread is now full of "my first arbi site" crap. It's not rocket science. Build a 1-pg site with 200-400 words, put up some adsense blocks within the content and repeat over and over. I believe there is so much more money (and less tedious) to be made with affiliate programs.

Jon, is there any way that we could get "arbitrage" it's own sub-section thread?

Why not a section on myspace? Very few forums have a section regarding it and I as well as many others use myspace to generate alot of revenue.
 
Looser - go fuck yourself! who the hell cares about selling on myspace? go ask that asshat chicken dick or whatever his name is! hell he was only here long enough to try and flame a nice member of this forum!

Uzzzz - I was not wanting to show any secrets, this was a ploy to get your secrets to earining millions of Peso's on the internets!
 
the site is mostly about arbitrage cause it is simple and not as involved as aff. doing well with aff is very involved. to do it right you have to build for a specific market. you might have to do some pre selling witch is not easy. CPA offers are good but how do you market them? were do you get traffic to an email or zip submit if the payout is only $.80 to $2? these are all things that are not easy to do if you have never done it before. My personal goal is to get 80% traffic from organic and 20% ppc. I am at about 50/50 now and getting over that hump is hard.
anyway aff is alittle more advanced than arbitrage. I would suggest you be able to get in the 3:1 range at arbitrage before putting a tone of effort into aff. at that point you should be well versed in the art of ppc ad writing and keywords. just my 2 cents not that it is worth 1 peso!
 
I agree with Chris. Let's do it. We'll get a thread going and I'm willing to use some of my money for doing some of the tests so that we can compare. I'm bored with arbitrage and I'm only making like 50% gross profit on affiliate and I feel that blows, but I just can't get over that hurdle.

Marketing on myspace is affiliate marketing. And talking about marketing on myspace is boring as fuck. Here is the myspace secret, you need to have access to thousands of friends, link drop comment spam to your sites to increase pr, send spam bulletins, and/or put aff links on your profile.
 
Lets do it. Looks like Jdog is up for starting a campaign and documenting his results, I can do the same. Let's try to run some offers that not everyone and their grandmother is involved in.
