I have a few thousand email addresses that I want to load up into a mail manage and do some email blasts. Now and especially at this stage, I'm looking at something smalltime but reliable.

1. I checked awebber. Where i am supposed to register for a trial, the form never appears, and they don't answer my emails. Are they down?

Also I read on here that they require the user to double opt in. I need something where I load up my emails and go

2 icontact ( = intellicontact, right? ) is like half the price of awebber and they don't talk about volumes and shit.

3. Are there any of these good for what I need or you have other suggestions? My concerns are: the vendor not stealing my contact. reliable on unsubscribe and avoiding other anti-spammer booby traps.

Thanks
HH

Assume youi're talking about aweber.com , not awebber.com? Where did you find out about any trial they offered? News to me. I use single opt in with them.

What they have is that you can use their service for a month and if you are not satisfied before the end of the month you can get a reimbursement.

I had to use FF, then the form worked and I signed in. I like their interface. We'll see how it goes

Hey Hairy how did you ever make out with this? I usually use PPC for my offers but I have a list I am looking to work with right now and was also wondering what the best service to use. Which one did you go with and how did it work out?

Are you good at PHP/mySQL? The very basic system to accomplish this can be coded in a couple of hours.
