Site maps question

hi.
Sorry if im posting this in the wrong section, I also searched a bit before psoting this.

I recently started a new site and I made a google site map
my question is really simple, I have a forum in the site and I was wondering if I had to include links in the site map to all the threads
or just putting a link to the forum index page is ok and google would try and index the rest of the links.

the piece of the forum looks like this

  <loc>http://www.mysite.com/forum</loc>
  <lastmod>2007-06-01</lastmod>
  <changefreq>daily</changefreq>
  <priority>0.5</priority>
 </url>

should i add links to all pages or leave it like that

What is the point of having an incomplete sitemap? Google will know to spider the base URL of your site, don't worry about that.

my site is very graphical, i have image links, but i also included text links to each section and also added the site map so it could be properly indexed.

my doubt is that if i include a link to a certain section of my site, in this case my forum which has additional links, do i have to include them all or google will take care of that.

When you look at a road map, does it only give you a couple of the main roads and assume you'll just figure it out from there. Think man!

If you're gonna do a sitemap, include every link to every page on your entire site. If you aren't going to do that, don't even bother...

If it's indeed a forum you're looking to "sitemap" there are a lot of free tools out there for the major forum suites (punBB, phpBB, vBulletin) that auto-generate a full sitemap of the entire forum.

my question, i got the piece of code for the sitemap, i don't have the slightest idea of where to put it in my theme editor? I am using blogger?
