Hey guys seriously I have been trying to promote these affiliates so hard but I havent got a single conversion. Over $60 bucks lost on ppc. I am using laser targeted key words. Is any one getting conversions from any of these two companies.? My adds are placed on top three everytime i search it on yahoo search.

cheers

p.s. You have to enter cc details even for the trial offer on the main landing page of the merchants

I experienced the same thing with the jillian michaels offer, 130 extremely targeted clicks, not a single conversion

how do you know if your keywords are targetted? is it just based on the cost of the click? even then how do you know that anybody is going to search with that term?

I don't think these are good PPC offers. You guys using PPC need to focus on free offers not requiring a credit card.

I will have more info on my own tests here in 2-3 weeks (new site) although I am using natural results, even then, I have tracking in place to see how many clicks to sale.

yeah i tend to think that a lot of clicks on an offer like this are curiosity - don't get cute with your ads. depending on what KW's you are bidding on, you might just be getting a lot of people researching the offer. if it is something unusual or outlandish, there will certainly be surfers trying to figure out what the hell is the deal with it, possibly not even considering a purchase at that point.

umm... i am going to have to disagree with you and scott. while converting an offer that is a lead can be easier than one that is a sale, to say that no one has success with PPC to sale (credit card or whatever) is completely ignorant and asenine. i am not saying scott is either of these things, he has said that he concentrates mostly on organic serps and not much ppc. but don't kid yourselves - go take a look at all the long term ppc ads that are up promoting something that requires a credit card - fuck, most offers adverstised as "free" require credit card info either to kick in at the end of a free trial or for a small S and H fee.

bottom line, and this has been said before by those MUCH more experienced than me in AM - ANYTHING can work, if it is done and presented the right way. it is kinda like that lime green hatchback you thought you could never sell - until you found that fuck living in a lime green house with lime green everything - "oh sweet mercy"

I have it as free trial offer for south beach diet and get free meal for diet to go. Keywords prices are around 0.60-1.50 per click.

Man, I was looking at this offer last night trying to figure how to promote it as well as the Nutrisystem Nourish. I suggest you contact your AM and get some feedback. Question are you going straight to the offer? Maybe you should get some heatmaps going to monitor user behavior, rework your page and do some more testing. at least get some exit info to see how long they stay on your page

to say that no one has success with PPC to sale (credit card or whatever) is completely ignorant and asenine.
RESPECT..

But you just put words in my mouth. I was talking SPECIFICALLY about these diet offers. I have good success with other PPC to Sale offers but not with the diet market.

For diet sales, one page landing sites do not work for me. I'm not exclusive to one method. Just talking from experience.. I do have some success selling diet packages, however, I have to do a lot more hand holding to get the customer to buy.
